Description
Step back in time and uncover the fascinating evolution of Londonโs transport system.
From the earliest horse-drawn buses of the 18th century to the worldโs first underground steam and electric trains, this museum tells the story of how transportation has defined the city.
Located in a charming former flower market, the museum showcases a wide array of vintage vehicles, from classic London buses and trams to the iconic Tube trains.
Learn how these innovations helped shape the fast-paced city we know today.
For younger visitors, the interactive 'All Aboard' play zone lets kids step into the roles of conductors, mechanics, and drivers (ages 0-7).
A recent addition is the Global Poster Gallery, which offers over 100 stunning poster artworks, including the exciting "How to Make a Poster" exhibition, which delves into the art of commercial design and advertising history.

The first museum in mu entire life which I really enjoyed and I am 55. Despite it being the school holidays and 29th of December the place was not overcrowded so the attendance management works perfect. Highly recommended.

Fantastic 4 hours with 7 year old and 4 year old. Museum is so well thought out with stampers to help encourage kids round the museum and explore the fantastic space and exhibits. Staff went above and beyond to make sure things were explained at a level my girls could understand and enhance the experience. Best London museum I've been to.
